3 Bean Salad - The Band

*** News - Updated 22 Jun07**

3 Bean are taking an extended break at the moment to write and record new music...

The West London based '3 Bean Salad' have firmly made their mark on the jazz funk and latin scene.

Consisting of the tightest jazz funk rhythm section, virtuosic horns, dazzling latin percussion, and soulful vocals, 3 Bean Salad weave effortlessly through their own unique jazz funk music to arrangements of artists from Tania Maria to The Meters.

3BS always follow their own musical vision and have created their unique sound by bringing together the rhythms of the funk and latin world, with the freedom of the jazz tradition. The soul of the music is in the groove - the body is inspired by the imagination and creativity from 'all music'.

If you have ever been to a 3BS gig you'll understand the amazing atmosphere - those who want to move, go ahead and dance all night; whilst those who want to listen, just smile, sit back and get lost in the music.

And this is with out doubt why 3BS have attracted the country's most exciting musicians. Gwilym Simcock and Pete Wareham who feature (even back-to-back on a solo section!) on their EP 'Free Thinking funk' went on to win awards at the BBC 2005 jazz awards. Other regular musicians include the outstanding and energetic latin/ soul/ jazz singer Victoria Newton, and latin percussion expert Oli Savill.
